Description

Watercolor painting, about 18x23 inches. I didn't really keep track this time but I think it took 30-40 hours...something like that. Anyway, classic subject matter, but I thought it would be fun to do my interpretation of it.

I really like the colorscheme. The focal point is a little lost too me,but, I need a lot of contrasts to guide my eye. I admire your skill with the watercolors. Really well done.

The warrior's kind of dancy and floaty, with little body dynamics. But that kind of fits the unreal, detailed overall picture which is all dreamy and unfocused, so maybe that was intentional. :) Still, good handling of material.

Your handling of watercolor is awesome as always. there's not much deepth nor spectacular effect in this pic which is good; it gives it a very restful feel.

When did you start posting here and why weren't you automatically added to elite artists? Great to see some of your new work, I seldom get to my gallery favorites anymore due to lack of time, but I browse this site daily.

Fantastic as always.

Sweet piece of art, I love the softness of it. This reminds me of the old asian dynasty paintings, very soothing. Good to see people using natural mediums like this.

quite a complex piece! i love the way the imagery continually shifts(stairs to tree to window, etc). i remember stumbling upon your website some time ago and was just blown away. great to see your work here.

water colour ability is good.but texture is ordinary.and dragon is to small i think.detail on man is very nice for wt.color.

Wonderfully detailed illustration! The only critic I can give is that the stained glass dominates a little too much where as the dragon (the main subject) blends into the background too much. Great Job!!

WOW~ terrible watercolor skill you have! I really like the color so much~

turney87

mate, that took skill!
congrats i give it a nine out of ten because the subject could have taken up a little more space rather than the background and you have to search to find what is going on
good job though
keep it up
